2010 Jubilee Day......The Next Day

WOW! What a great time we had at the annual Jubilee Day in downtown Mechanicsburg. Set-up was at 7am, and there were people arriving already. It was a gorgeous day and the temperature was just right to have some fun. So many people came to fill up their bellies with unhealthy food that tastes so good, play some games, buy something handmade, and even get to know some of the local businesses.
When the balloons were filled and the strings were tied, soon there were Teal colored bubbles floating in the air just above their heads for everyone to see…………………EXIT REALTY GROUP. We raised money for Cumberland Valley Habitat for Humanity through face painting, bicycle raffle, and kind donations that are greatly appreciated. Ross Willard from Recycle Bicycle, Harrisburg was fixing bikes for free and teaching bicycle safety to all. Ross is also a DJ for 720 am The Rock, so he made 3 announcements over the radio encouraging folks to stop by. Erin Hughes from Trinity High School volunteered to help out with a few of her 9th grade students. Thanks goes out to all of them.
It was definitely another year to remember at the annual Jubilee Day!
